| The concrete acid
stained frieze design is now installed. On top of it will go the
DAC-ART concrete cornice. You can see all the wire lift-handles
as well as the threaded rods that will extend through the
cornice blocks.
Below the cornice blocks are
lined up to receive the acid stain color before they are
installed. The color is subtle and looks different in shade and
sunshine. |

First cornice blocks go on. |

The west side of Villa Lagoon got
the cornice installed first. There is a fair amount of grinding
going on to fit the pieces in place. The rental man-lift has
really come in handy for this operation. |

| We are very pleased with
the look of the concrete acid stained cornice and upper row of
blocks. The color is subtle and glows nicely in the afternoon
sun. The effect of the stain is different on each block
somewhat. Overall , this lends an ancient look to the place. For

We are excited to know that we
will be hanging a porch swing from Yard Envy on the lower porch
facing Little Lagoon. It is a cypress five foot swing that we
will probably choose to paint since it is exposed to such harsh
weather sometimes. Yard Envy sells hammocks, bird houses, bird feeders,
teak furniture, sundials and more at www.YardEnvy.com |
