In 2004 Phase I of the
Villa Lagoon survived a direct hit from Hurricane Ivan, a Category 3
storm with winds of 139 mph with only minor damage, no rain or wind
destruction and no structural damage.
Phase I of Villa Lagoon received a great deal
positive regional and national media coverage. The focus of the coverage
revolved around two major themes: its unique construction and durability
during a hurricane. Consumer interest in these themes in turn produced
some very impressive website traffic statistics. We anticipate the
coverage for Phase II to be on par or greater than for Phase I. Please
